Hey, it's Derral Eves.

I’ve been on YouTube since it began in 2005, and I have learned basically everything there is to know about YouTube! I have worked with many of the world’s top creators and have seen the patterns of what works and what doesn’t on YouTube.

Helping creators kill it on YouTube is my passion, and I want to help you, too.

So I distilled my years of experience into a simple system called “Channel JumpStart” that produces consistent results for my "JumpStarter" students.

Week 1 - Preparing For Your Success: The JumpStarter Way In The first week you will enter your kick off call, introductions will be made and section 1 will be released. You will understand expectations, set goals, and learn tools that will help you on your journey.

Week 2 - Understanding Your Channel and Your Content In the second week we'll hit the ground running with research. You will learn how to do your homework for your content and your niche so you are ready for the next stage.

Week 3 - Creating Engaging Content: The Planning Stage In the third week you'll learn how to create content that viewers in your niche will stay engaged with. You will start to become a titles & thumbnail images pro!

Week 4 - Creating Engaging Content: Production & Preparation In the fourth week you will learn the elements of great storytelling. There are patterns everywhere, including patterns of narration. You will also learn what it takes to make content that "pops." This is the fun part!

Week 5 - Creating Engaging Content: Production & Editing In the fifth week you can take your plans and EXECUTE. Execution takes a while to master, but you can do it like the experts when you learn things like sound design, batch, shooting, and editing tools.

Week 6 - Optimizing, Launching & Promotion In the sixth week you'll have well-planned and executed content that is ready to be seen. We'll cover everything related to launching content, including optimizing your metadata and jumpstarting the YouTube algorithm.

Week 7 - Analyzing Your Videos & Data In the seventh week you'll finally learn WHAT TO DO WITH THE DATA. There is no need to be intimidated by YouTube's analytics - they are there to help you! This is Derral's JAM.

Week 8 - Tweaking Your Content To Succeed In the eighth week you will learn how to adjust your strategy and your content. You'll make decisions moving forward based on what you learned when you analyzed the data in Week 7.
